Latin America and the Ecosocialist Alternative

Peruvian political-activist Hugo Blanco

Peruvian political-activist Hugo Blanco will be in London this Saturday, 18 September, as part of a seminar on ecosocialism in Latin America.

Held by the Green Left and Socialist Resistance, the seminar will hold workshops covering topics from the struggles of indigenous people to food sovereignty, the struggle of Latin American migrants and the politics of oil in Latin America. Other speakers include Diana Raby, Derek Wall, Grace Livingstone and more.

The seminar will be held at the University of London Union (Malet Street, London WC1.) The nearest tube station is Euston. Doors open (registration) 10.00 ; Seminar — 11.00 until 5.30. Entry to this event is £12.00 (£4.00 unwaged) in advance and £15.00 (£6.00 unwaged) at the door.
